We’re going to be switching up the business model here at Harmonic Note.
As I like to code and with that being my primary focus right now, starting with the official release of iPhoneOS 3.0, I’ll be releasing all of Harmonic Note’s software under the shareware/donationware model.
Shareware has always been something unique within the MacOS community. Not unique in it’s existence, but unique in its quality - commercial quality.
So I’ll be releasing some interesting new iPhone apps, as well as a series of articles which will detail how I came about writing these apps. The first will be following UOMe 2.0’s complete rewrite.
And with more to follow. Keep an eye out!

Quick Update Fixes a Couple Bugs
- Loans Section Doesn’t Refresh With New Loans
- Selecting Loan from Loans Section Always Moves to IOU Section
I also shamelessly updated the app name to “UOMe (IOU)” because the app store search function only filters the name of apps, and UOMe being excluded just isn’t right.

UOMe v1.1 Approved For Sale
Wow, this time it went relatively fast! UOMe v1.1 was submitted on wednessday night (actually maybe more like 3am on thursday) and I just got a candy-gram from Apple informing me of UOMe’s approval.
That’s just 3 working days. Not bad. I hope my luck continues…
And for those who are in my beta testing pool, I’m now starting work on a great new App. Keep an eye out for an email in your inboxes. This one will be awesome!

UOMe 1.1.0 has just been submittal for approval!
If the stars are in line, Apple will be quick with the approval (a week is typical).
Keep an eye out!

Acounts Moved From Drupal (old site) to Wordpress (new site)
Accounts made from the previous version of the Harmonic Note site have been migrated to this new version.
Unfortunately, as this migration is going from how Drupal stores user information and the way Wordpress does it, not everything translates perfectly..
The important things: email and username, have been moved over successfully.
Other important things, such as your password, have not. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Passwords are encrypted such that not even someone looking at the database’s raw data can easily figure out what the password is. As such, I’ve copied over the encrypted form of your password (which is different with every website, even if you use same password with every website you visit) into the user database under wordpress.
I don’t expect this to work, but since your email’s been migrated, doing a password recovery should allow you to reset your password.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but alas… growing pains…

Out With The Old, In With The New
Welcome to the newly overhauled Harmonic Note website!
HarmonicNote.com is now using WordPress to do all of it’s website fun-ness. I’ll also be adding a forum soon, which will include areas for feedback and comments about my Projects, as well as an area for beta testers. Or, rather, Beta Tester… as I’ve only got one thus far. And that’ll soon change as I’ll be writing more interesting apps that will have a broader appeal. Here’s his blog if you wanna check it out: iSchneppi.de
